This album shows that DJ Drama can still put together a great project after all his years in Hip Hop. While he is more of a curator than a performer, he shows he has connections and puts together exactly what the title describes.
The production is energetic while creating the atmosphere the track needs. Each is individual while bring cohesive with the overall listen through. When you listen through the whole thing, it does seem formulaic on first listen, but each backing is crafted well and will appeal to the listener.
The features really help to make this project as they are the main focus of all the songs. All put in good effort and on each track, the guests work well together as DJ Drama knew they would. He picks a few veterans as well as a great selection of up and comers to show their skills and flesh out the tracks. Maybe some artists further from what Drama already knows could make some moments further from the formula, but he knows what works and works it well.
Overall, this is a great playlist for songs for the street. DJ Drama has put this together very well and will hopefully go on to cultivate new talent as he has been.
This project is great as it shows that Fabolous is still making great music. He uses his great skill. To make these that have a summertime feel but with a winter coldness.

This is a great album for progression in Hip Hop. Lil Dicky expertly shows a fresher opinion of what is achieveable in the rap game for those of different backgrounds to the original blueprint.
The production is great with a fantastic blend of new and old school sounds. This allows for a lot of scope and for Lil Dicky to show how talented he is while exploring where he fits in the hierarchy of rappers. Some slower beats could show that Lil Dicky works with even more diverse beats, however what he works with here is not even close to bad.
The lyricism is excellent with fast paced rhymes that are laced with a variety of techniques. Lil Dicky crams a lot into his songs in terms of volume while keeping things complex and interesting to listen to. A few slower sections would show that Dicky can use more than speed, but he does well to showcase so much talent from a relative newcomer.
The features do a great job allowing Lil Dicky into the rap world with such an embrace. Each brings a lot to their verses or hooks which are all cohesive to the project and have chemistry with each other as well as the main artist. A few more singing as well as higher ranking players could make more of a balanced project and possibly push Lil Dicky a bit harder, however there is no doubt that the people on here do a great job.

The production is great and gives enough scope for Trae to really explore around his emotions and feelings. There is not too much going on in the background to overpower the artists but they do have enough impact that they aren’t forgotten. Some more higher energy tracks could have balanced it out slightly more, however that would not be in the spirit of the emotional sharing.
The lyricism is good but most of the enjoyment comes from his delivery. His unique tone makes Trae easily discernible to the listener while his rhymes have enough power behind them to sink in and make you think. Some more complex techniques could entice more of an audiance, however that is not the aim of this project. Trae has selected his audiance and plays directly to them.

Maybe mixing up the structure of the album to space out the emotional content could help to make a whole listen through easyier to digest but it is all still entertaining to hear a whole play through.

Boosie fills his song with wordplay and the lines that don’t have a rap technique in, he fills with passion and emotion so that it has a good amount of impact with the listener. He may want to try and add a touch more complex wordplay into a few more lines to pull in the lyrical purists.
The features all put in a good job assisting Boosie on the tracks. They each write great verses and put on fantastic performances that lead to great cohesion over the album. A lot of big names are involved in the credits and shows how far Boosie has come in his career.

Some tracks require Longway to carry them along with his rapping and have no substance of thier own which can lead to a very repetitive listen.
